Description
1973 CZ 250
In the early days of motocross in the US, CZ motorcycles were on virtually every starting line in the country...for good reason. They had a long and illustrious history of winning championships with the likes of Joel Robert. Their reputation for being "tough as a tank" was just what racers were looking for to avoid the dreaded DNF (Did Not Finish) status on the race results.
CZ's signature coffin-style gas tank, sunburst cylinder head, and down-swept exhaust was the epitome of motocross in the '70's. You either had a CZ or wanted a CZ. Simple as that.
While CZ 250s were not rare, finding one this nice and this original is extremely rare. It deserves a museum or a den or an office to live in. How about yours?
