1970 Triumph T100C
1970 Triumph T100C, Trophy 500cc. This bike has been completely rebuilt from the frame up. We have a frightening stack of receipts that total well in excess of the asking price and that does not even consider hundreds of hours of labor that we personally put into the project. Frank Deihl Classic Cycle Works of Georgetown South Carolina completed a full engine rebuild, “Bob Newby” belt drive installation and rebuilt both wheels. The frame and swingarm were powder coated and everything else on this bike was either reconditioned, rebuilt or replaced other than the tank which was not repainted as we liked it as it was. There is most likely nothing on this Triumph that went untouched, for example, every nut and bolt that could be changed was replaced with new SAE fine hardware. It currently has 17 miles on the trip set since the work was completed and is not even broken in yet. The exhaust pipes are the 1968 version as we dislike the looks of the 1970 BBQ grille setup. The non original center stand was added for display purposes. This is a numbers matching motorcycle. Rivet counters please note that this was not intended to be a 100-point restoration project but rather it was built to replace my 1967 T100C that sadly had to be sold in 1989 to pay pediatrician bills. The bike is currently dry and on display in my home office. It pains me to post this for sale, but life changes and some things must pass.
