Rickman Metisse Yamaha 750
1970 Rickman Metisse Yamaha 750
While the Rickman Bros. did not make chassis kits in the early 70's for the Yamaha XS650, they did in the 90's when the brand experienced a renaissance in popularity. This is one such example powered by Yamaha's "Triumph-like" parallel twin. The engine package has been enhanced to 750cc, mild cams, electronic ignition, Mikuni carb and more. Slightly heavier than the Triumph TR6 engine, the XS750 outperforms anything in its class when power, clutch, transmission and reliability are considered.
Rickman's classic and timeless good looks are the brand's calling card. An effective blend of curvaceous lines and muscular overtones makes the mighty Metisse a must-have for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Add to that the rarity of the Yamaha engine and brakes and you have a machine that is as much fun to ride as it is to gaze at.
